01 Introduction
Garuda Lands Admin ("the App") is an internal field-operations app for authorized Garuda Lands employees only. Accounts are created by company administrators; users cannot self-register.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the App, how we use it, and your rights. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
02 Who this policy covers
This policy applies to employees, field agents, and managers who sign in with credentials issued by Garuda Lands. It does not apply to a public consumer website or to end customers using other Garuda Lands products, except where their details (for example farmer or buyer information) are entered by staff as part of work.
03 Information we collect
Depending on your role and the features you use, we may collect:
Account & profile
Name, email address, phone number, employee / user ID, profile photo, work location (state, district, mandal, village), and related employment profile fields.
Identity & work documents
Photos and files uploaded for work, which may include farmer/KYC documents such as Aadhaar, passbook, title deeds, expense receipts, bus tickets, land photos, path photos, and visit photos.
Land & operational data
Land details, farmer contact details, visit notes, path/route points, session records, expenses, and wallet / salary / reimbursement information (including bank or UPI / PhonePe details where entered in profile).
Location
Precise GPS location when you capture land coordinates, record field paths, or run a work session. During an active work session, location may continue to be collected in the background so field-day records stay accurate while the phone is locked or another app is open. Used for operational accountability, not advertising.
Device & diagnostics
Crash logs, diagnostics, and device identifiers may be sent to our crash-reporting provider (Sentry) to keep the App stable and secure.
Authentication
Login credentials are verified on our servers. Access tokens are stored securely on the device. We do not use Advertising ID and we do not show ads in the App.
04 How we use your information
We use this information to:
- Provide App features (login, land entry, visits, maps, path logging, sessions, wallet, profile)
- Manage employee accounts and work assignments
- Verify land, visits, and related field work
- Process work/travel reimbursements and internal wallet records
- Maintain security, detect fraud or unauthorized access, and debug crashes
- Comply with legal and internal audit requirements
05 How we share information
Data is sent to Garuda Lands servers over HTTPS to operate the App. We may share data with:
- Service providers who help us run the App (for example crash reporting via Sentry, map tile providers, cloud hosting), only as needed to provide those services
- Authorized internal staff (managers / admins) who need work records to do their jobs
- Authorities, if required by law
06 Data storage and security
Personal and work data is stored on our backend systems and, where needed, on your device (for example login tokens and drafts). We use technical and organizational measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access-controlled APIs, and secure on-device token storage.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your login credentials confidential and log out on shared devices.
07 Data retention
We retain account, land, visit, session, and financial work records for as long as needed for employment, operational, legal, and audit purposes. Crash logs are retained according to our crash-reporting provider's settings and our operational needs. When an employee account is deactivated, access is revoked; deletion of stored records follows company HR / admin process.
08 Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including Indian IT / DPDP rules) and employment obligations, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data.
Because accounts are created by administrators:
- You can update some profile fields in the App
- For account deletion or full data deletion, contact your Garuda Lands admin or email garudalandsnetwork@gmail.com
We may need to retain certain work records for legal or operational reasons even after an access request.
09 Children's privacy
The App is intended only for adults (18+) who are Garuda Lands staff. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10 Permissions used by the App
Location (precise / background)
Land pins, path recording, work-session tracking.
Camera / photos / files
Land photos, documents, receipts.
Notifications
Operational alerts, where enabled.
Internet
To sync with Garuda Lands servers.
You can change most permissions in your device settings. Some features will not work without the related permission.
11 Third-party services
Third parties we may use include crash reporting (Sentry) and map services. They process limited technical or location-related data under their own privacy policies, solely to provide those functions.
12 International processing
Our servers and service providers may process data in India or other locations where they operate. We take reasonable steps to protect data in accordance with this policy.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
